Refund and Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how refunds and cancellations are handled for services purchased from Usul Creative Solutions.
1. About This Policy
This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how refund and cancellation requests are handled for services purchased from Usul Creative Solutions. Read this policy in full before purchasing any service. By purchasing a service, you confirm that you have read and agree to this policy.
2. Custom and Digital Service Nature
All UCS services are custom, professional, and digital in nature. Resume writing, LinkedIn optimisation, cover letters, websites, SEO work, branding, website care, and Google Business Profile services involve professional time, research, and expertise allocated specifically to each client. Because of this, refund eligibility is limited once work has commenced.
3. Scope Confirmation Before Payment
Online checkout is not currently active on this website. Payments are accepted only after scope and package have been confirmed through official UCS channels, and payment instructions are shared directly by UCS after that confirmation. Payment confirmation means you have reviewed the relevant service page, agreed to the scope, and understood the terms of this policy. If you are uncertain about a service, confirm scope before making payment, and do not act on payment instructions that do not come through official UCS channels.
4. Cancellation Before Work Begins
If you wish to cancel before work has commenced and before the intake form has been submitted, contact hello@usulcs.com immediately with your name, the service booked, and your payment confirmation details. Where no work has been undertaken, UCS will review the refund request in good faith. Third-party payment processing fees, if incurred, may be deducted from any refund amount.
5. Cancellation After Work Has Begun
Once research, writing, drafting, design, planning, setup, or any other service work has begun, refund eligibility is limited. If you cancel partway through, UCS will review the refund request in good faith based on the stage of work completed. No refund will be issued for work already completed and delivered, including partial deliverables shared for review or approval.
6. After Delivery
Refunds are not available after the final deliverable has been delivered. If you believe the delivered work does not meet the agreed scope, raise a revision request within the revision window stated in your service confirmation. UCS will address reasonable in-scope revision requests before considering any other resolution.
7. Scenarios That Do Not Qualify for Refund
Refunds are not available for the following: change of mind after work has commenced; dissatisfaction arising from outcomes UCS cannot control such as employment results, recruiter response, ATS outcomes, Google rankings, platform verification, sales, leads, or traffic; incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the client that affected the quality of the work; delayed client response that resulted in timeline variation; revision requests that exceed the agreed package scope; or third-party platform decisions, algorithm changes, or hosting and domain issues outside UCS control.
8. Revisions Within Policy
Revision rounds are defined per package. A revision is a reasonable adjustment to the existing deliverable within the original scope and brief. Requests for new direction, additional services, or work that falls outside the original brief are out of scope and will be quoted separately. Revision requests must be raised within the timeframe stated in your service confirmation.
9. Website and Design Work
For website design and development services, work becomes substantially non-refundable once design, structure, or development has begun. Partial work on design, layouts, copy, structure, or configuration is not refundable regardless of whether the final website has been delivered. Domain registration and third-party hosting costs incurred during the project are non-refundable.
10. SEO and Website Care Plans
SEO services and website care plans involve ongoing professional effort. No ranking outcome is guaranteed. Work completed for the current billing period or scope window is not refundable. Clients wishing to discontinue a monthly or retainer arrangement should notify UCS before the next billing period to avoid renewal.
11. Non-Refundable Items
The following are non-refundable in all cases: completed work whether fully or partially delivered; professional time allocated and spent on your project; third-party costs incurred on your behalf including domain registration, stock assets, or tool subscriptions; and payment processing fees where applicable.
12. How to Request a Refund
To raise a refund request, contact hello@usulcs.com with your full name, the service purchased, the date of payment, and a clear explanation of your request. UCS will review refund requests in good faith based on the stage of work completed, the type of service, completed deliverables, professional time already spent, documented circumstances, non-refundable third-party costs, and applicable consumer law.
13. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed through the original payment channel or an agreed alternative. Processing time depends on the payment method and any applicable third-party processing timelines. UCS will communicate the expected timeline once a refund is approved.
14. Chargebacks
If you are dissatisfied with a service, contact UCS directly before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute. If a chargeback or payment dispute is raised without prior contact, UCS may provide relevant documentation to the payment provider. UCS is committed to resolving legitimate concerns through direct communication.
15. Client Delays
If a project is delayed because required information, feedback, or approvals are not provided by the client, timelines may change and refund eligibility may be affected based on the work already completed.
16. Statutory Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit any non-excludable rights available under applicable Indian law.
